Hi!
I have this problem where I do NOT tan in the summer and my legs are white as snow. So, for you guys who have the same problem I’ll share my fake tanning routine 🙂
First of all, wash your legs to get the ‘durt’ off. Here I use my Rituals shower foam from the “Sakura” collection. It’s an all time favorite of mine.
Then I use the shower oil from the same line ( It’s an old packaging but it is the same 😉 ). When this oil comes in contact with water, it turns into a creamy foam.
I do not rinse out the shower oil, because if I do, the scrub will fall of my legs. So the shower oil allows the scrub to stick on my legs. I scrub my legs untill the sugar dissolves. Don’t exfoliate to much! I do it maximum once a week.
After that, I rinse everything off and use the same shower foam to shave my legs. Then I use a body butter, that day I used one of Victoria’s secret.
Let your legs dry for a while, so that they aren’t sticky anymore.
Normally I use 6 pumps of my fake tan from L’oreal, but mine is broken so I do it intuitively. Also, my self tanner from L’oreal is from last year. This season they have a new range of selftanning products on the market. I’m thinking to buy a new one from this range. So, if you guys want a review of that let me know! 🙂
The self tanner gives an instant golden glow. If you want you can wash this off but I prefer not to do that 🙂 The next day your legs are summer ready 😀
Some tips to self tanning:
- Exfoliate!!!
- Shave
- Hydrate
- Less is more
- Use old towels
- Do it in the morning, otherwise your bed sheets turn orange
- Let it dry enough
- Use a blow dryer to dry the selftanner
- Use a self tan mitten
- Use baby powder in the creases of your body. The sweat creates orange streaks!!!
- Wash your hands or they will be orange
DISCLAIMER: This blogpost was NOT sponsered by Rituals or L’oreal at all. These brands are just one of my favs 😉
Hope you guys enjoyed it!!!
